FACTSHEET FIVE EDITORS' CHOICE

Iron Feather Journal Issue 13 Winter 1994

Stevyn has been publishing IFJ for several years now. While each issue would vary in contents, the themes of technology, pot and general phun would prevail. For the past year, Stevyn has been living in a car, and he's managed to produce the biggest, densest, most information-packed issue of IFJ to date. While other zines might have more hard data, IFJ makes up for it in enthusiasm and the wide scope of interests. Hacking, Raves, Pirate Radio, homemade drugs, Comix, travelling around and living on the streets in Boulder. Stevyn has trolled the Net for, and lived the life of hacking for the phun of it.

Believe me, if I went into any detail about what's in this zine, this reivew would be a couple of pages long. I think the contents should be enought to convince you to send your $5.00. There's lots and lots of data about Ecstasy, and drink plenty of water. Did you think Blue Boxes were a thing of the past? There are still rural areas in the US that still use cross-bars. ASCII schematics and tips for building an FM transmitter. Phun stuff on the Net (coke machines, NASA and CIA data), how to be a DJ, how to build a Hydrogen Generator for your car, and shitloads of interviews, contacts and reviews.

IFJ is the "Anarchist's Cookbook" of the 90s, without all the bogus data that would get you killed.
